Chrysin - An Explanation

With the rise in vitamin and body enhancement drugs being more freely available, it’s often confusing to determine which ones are more beneficial than others, and which ones to avoid due to uncomfortable side effects. Bodybuilders, especially, need to know which pills and drugs are safe to take when it comes to trying to help enhance their body and muscle mass. Thankfully, there seems to be a drug that is ideal for its users, as chrysin has shown to have no side effects in trials conducted so far.

Found in the likes of everyday natural products like honeycomb, as well as the plant passiflora coerulea, chrysin is an isoflavane that enhances the testosterone levels in men, ideal for bodybuilders. Although testosterone is the dominant hormone in men, it’s actually the female hormone estrogen that affects how much testerone is sent from the male brain to the body. Since this can determine how much energy and adrenalin males have running through their body, chrysin is an excellent alternative since it reduces the control estrogen has over the brain.

Since bodybuilders use an extremely high level of testosterone when working out, due to the increased levels of body mass and energy that they expend, chrysin is an ideal solution to their needs. With the side effects that anabolic steroids have been known to produce, such as loss of virility in users, any supplement that can boost energy levels as well as be safe into the bargain is a must. Because it actually accelerates the normal levels of testosterone produced by the male hormone system, it allows greater weights to be lifted, thus enhancing body muscle both quicker and more efficiently.

It’s not just bodybuilders who can benefit from the use of chrysin, though. Any activity that requires increased energy levels will be greatly assisted by the use of the drug. For this reason, it’s become extremely popular amongst professional athletes, such as runners and football players. Since they expend energy at a far greater rate than a normal person, or even athletes of a less demanding sport, having a supplement which will allow them to compete longer and with more concentrated levels of energy is a godsend. Thus there has been in increase in the use of chrysin increase in athletics over the last couple of years.

Are there chrysin side effects? Although there have been no reported side effects as of yet, you should still be aware that if you are using chrysin, a strict regimen needs to be followed. Professionals recommend that to benefit the best from the supplement, it should be taken twice daily, once before you work out, with the recommended time slot of half an hour beforehand, and the second time as you’re preparing for bed. By adhering to these guidelines, you should see the benefits with no side effects.
